I built this website with a free website builder. Ebook Readers Reviewed - Kindle 2
I put up a PPC campaign and google is telling me that it is very poor quality. Can someone have a look at it and tell me why?

Google ranks it at 1 out of 10.

I was thinking it was because it was built with a free website builder.

Thanks for your help,
Tim

Not enough info here as Kim said. Use relevant keywords to your landing page, a clickable ad which will have good CTR and of course proper bid and you're in business.

By the way Tim, you should have a description metatag and for the page's title, I would put "Kindle review" first. In fact, I'd use "Kindle Ebook Reader Review".

Google will not penalize for using a free site builder or free account. All that is important to them is relevancy: relevant keywords, relevant ad.

OK I'll try that and see if it makes a difference. I can't use the word kindle in my campaign or google will have a fit. My campaign title is "ebook readers reviewed"
so that's what I made the title of my website but google is saying that its not relevant. My website is a review of ebook readers, it seem relevant to me.

        Hi Tim45,

I'm going to speculate that you are using "ebook reader reviews" as your keyword, perhaps with some various combinations of those words. If so, I believe that you may have selected keywords that are a bit too ambiguous.

Some keywords can be tricky, use the AdWords Keyword Tool to see which keywords are the most relevant for your landing page, then check those keywords for related terms that are not relevant, or are too ambiguous.

You may also want to include some of the "special" page that Google likes. (e.g. privacy policy, disclaimer, contact) etc...

The ad words keyword tool is how I found the keywords I'm targeting now. I have changed the title to reflected the keywords I'm targeting now but nothing has changed with google. They still say that it is poor quality.

I think I'll try opening a new google account. Does anyone know if that is still allowed?

No dont open another adwords account.. multiple accounts is a BIG NO from Google and they might prevent you from using their system altogether!

Try re structuring your keywords into multiple ad groups and custom made headlines and descriptions for each group.

      Hi Tim45,

You use the tool to find the most relevant keywords. When you view the results they will be displayed in order by relevance. Only the keywords at the top of the list will be highly relevant.

You still need to address the issue of ambiguity. Did you run those keywords through the tool to see what is returned? If you have results with significant volume that are not highly relevant, then you have an ambiguity problem. You must either add negative match keywords to the ad group, or drop the keyword.

Have you used the Keyword Analysis Page to determine whether the problem is with your landing page, keyword or ad text? If the problem is with your account structure, keyword or ad text, all the changes you make to you landing page will never resolve the issue. Identify where the problem is before attempting to fix it!

That's right. A big no-no. Never been allowed as far as I know.

There's no reason to open another account. You can run campaigns for multiple sites, no problem. Also makes things easier by having only one account.

I've heard some suggest to open a new account because their campaign was a mess, high costs, etc. If so, FIX THE MESS! By the same token, I've seen suggestions to create a new domain. That won't work, so fix the mess!
