I have heard that AdSense-Deluxe WordPress Plugin is good. Are there better ways to do this?

    Hi,

Personally I look for a template that is adsense ready.

Just use your text widget (requires a widgetized theme).
    Click - copy - paste - done
    Pretty easy!

That was the first thing I though to do but it did not take. I guess I will try a different theme. The one I was using was supposedly widget ready.

That's interesting. You simply add the HTML widget to the sidebar, open up, past your AdSense code.

If that's too difficult, maybe you need to outsource all your web design needs ASAP. Until then, these tools might be of use to you: 10 Best Wordpress Plugins for Google Adsense

I use adsense manager on some of my sites. Why I like it better then the text widget is because I can also put ads in pages or posts as well as the sidebar. I can even hard code into my theme the adsense manager code. Then all I need to do is set up the adsense ads in the admin panel. If in the future I need to change my ads or say I sell a site and need to change the adsense id's site wide I can do it in the admin panel. Super easy. I think it's name has been changed to Advertising manager. There are many other good adsense plugins. Just do a search.

  • Most methods (except hard coding) are pretty easy and fast. But what is the point? It is much more important to get your Adsense Displaying correctly in the right place. So you do it in 3 minutes and another guy takes 10 minutes but nails the placement. What have you saved?

Don't bother with a plugin for this. Use the text widget mentioned early.

Personally I wouldnt bother with Adsense anyway, you'll give up on it after making $3 for the month.

But its your choice.. dont know your site niche or traffic.. you may be on to something.

The themes from Woothemes are adsense ready. Top, Bottom, Left, Right and so on.. Adsense hasn't accepted my blog yet. So I haven't looked into it yet!

    Good day,

Widgets are always good, but there is some benefit on learning how to hard code yourself too. In fact, if you've never touched php before and wanted a good primer on touching code, copy and paste your adsense settings and see how dimensions play into the outcome. There have been times, due to the structure of a theme, that no plugin would have worked for me and I had to resort to hard coding (which was simply a copy/paste exercise).
