Link Pyramid

Hi Warriors,

I would like to ask is link pyramid still working or beneficial in Google ranking? Actually my website was on page 1 with 4 keywords on Google.au but from last one month it dropped down to 7th page and stuck. Some times it bounce back to 125 position and then on next day come back on 70 position or near by but not higher than this.

I have started building high authority links but don't get any result till yet, there are several no. of directory links in my link profile which was build by a failed contract hired from odesk.

From some resource I have heard that Link Pyramid can help me to get back my ranking. Is it true?

Please share you experiences about it and guide me with some strategies. Thanks in Advance.

    It depends on what kind of pyramid. If pyramid consist only of scrapebox / senuke / wiki links it will do you more harm than good. I suggest you build some high quality pyramids to your inner pages, and your main keyword will rise too (:

    What are you considering authority links? If you can get targeted high page rank links to your site (pr 4-6) with your targeted anchor text you should see an increase. It all depends on the competition of the keyword. Of the links you build already, is the anchor text diversified or all focused on your keyword?

    Still works if you make it work. Try and make the tier one sites as valuable as your money site. Just like amazon does with IMDB IMDB is a glorified tier one site for amazon

    I think, link pyramid still might be beneficial for Google ranking. But you have to create link pyramid in proper way. It consist of quality (High PR and Domain Authority) web 2.0 and Wiki sites only.
