Backlinking Problems - 2 Questions

Hello All,

So i've taken all of the advice over the last few weeks and tried to do my own backlinking, ...oh wow.. I have some questions.

1) 'Just build One Way, High PR, Relevant Links' - Sounds pretty easy, but I spent DAYS looking for these and found nothing but PR n/a Blog Posts to comment on. How do you find these? Do these actually exist?

2) Guest Blogging/ Article Submission - I've found loads of PR 7 - 2 Article submission and guest posting websites, but all of the pages I can create are PN n/a. Does this mean it's a waste of time?

My advice is this: repurpose your content to create links on high authority web 2.0s like youtube, slideshare, hubpages and others. Then start building authority to these pages. Some of these sites already have good PR so getting them to rank will not be hard in turn you'll be passing link juice and traffic to your main site. In addition you can try to find blogs with good PR and become a regular contributor by posting high quality comments, tweeting their posts etc over time this can lead to a link exchange or one way link.

Oh, I guess didn't really answer the two questions: (1) Yes, these links do exist but getting them is no easy task. The method most people suggest is buying expired high PR domains and using them to link to your own sites but this also has pitfalls so study up if you plan on trying it. (2) I would say that you shouldn't post to sites that are built around guest posting try to find sites that have their own content but also allow guest post and are relevant to your niche.

    Hi Paul,

Yes, they do exist but you have to search! My favorite method is going into google and searching:

keyword + "leave a comment" -"you must be logged in"

You can also try dropmylink.com to help search for other higher quality links in your niche.

I personally don't bother leaving comments on blogs with no PR.

Thanks for this tip - I've saved this to a notepad for future use. Worked great for my niche! I appreciate it!

I don't know if I agree with that. If you do go this way, you have to diversify your links as well.
