How to create web 2.0 pages properly?

Hi everyone,

Trying to put all the pieces of information together I have stumbled upon a big doubt about how to create web 2.0 pages...

My doubt is the following:

Do you target all your web 2.0 pages to your main keyword? If not, what percentage do you use for your main keyword and for your LSI related terms or niche related terms?

Note: To me, the meaning of "targeting target all your web 2.0 pages to your main keyword" is to include in the title the main keyword and include this keyword in the body text (with a 1% or 2% density) But it does not necessarily mean to include an anchor text with this keyword...

I am a little confused because according to some marketers, they target at least 50% of their web 2.0 pages to their main keyword and for other 50% they target their web 2.0 pages to LSI and niche related terms.

However, on the other side of the coin, the same marketers recommend not to surpass 30% of main keyword in the anchor text... I am sure that I am missing something. To me, this is a contradiction unless he meant that he target 50% of their web 2.0 pages to their main keyword but they use the main keyword as an anchor text only 30% of the time... Is the reasoning right?
What is the way you do the creation of web 2.0 pages?

Thanks in advance!
Steve

To recap, what I currently do is the following:
    • 50% of my web 2.0 pages are targeted to my main keyword. That means I include in 50% web 2.0 pages this keyword in the title and in the body (with 1% or 2% density).
    • But I only include the main keyword as an anchor text 30% of times in all the web 2.0 pages (the rest of anchor texts included are LSI terms and related niche terms)
    Is this approach right?

I do not know if I am doing well in this regard…

I know that for example marketers such as Mark Ling recommend targeting all your web 2.0 pages to your main keyword (that is to include the main keyword in the title and in the body) instead of targeting your web 2.0 pages to main keyword (50% of the time) and LSI terms (the other 50% of the time)...

As you can see I am little lost…

    Any comment will be welcomed!
    I much appreciate your answers

I think what you are doing is just fine. Actually, thinking about it too much can cause migranes, and puts a slow down on production and creativity. I wouldn't worry as much about exact percentages, and focus instead on thematically correct pages.

Just make sure to diversify, that is, if I had a dog collar affiliate site, I wouldn't make all the web20's about dog collars. Post about dog houses, walking your dog, you know, normal stuff that doesn't wave a great big red flag that says "Look at meeee, I'm building links to my site!!!" Make it look as though someone else wrote a post about whatever your site's theme is about, and included your site as an afterthought.

Oh, by the way, have you heard about The Secret Movie yet? It's crazy!

In Web 2.0s, I include informative content with 3-4% keyword density. And also add pictures according to my title & content.
