Hi guys,

Something really weird happened to my website, and it all started when I set up my google+ Authorship wrong by accident. Every since then my site appeared completely weird in the search engines. Here's what i mean ....

My original site used to appear normally... "http://myclassroomconnections.org/paleoburn-reviews/",

But now it appears with that weird "PART 217483647" in the title, and the "/page/217483647" in the url ....

Once i saw this, I quickly fixed my Google+ authorship properly, but what the hell happened?! How the heck did a simple error suddenly create a different page url that it non-existent, and appearing in the search result that way ...

I just hope that it's not permanent, any ideas guys?!

-THX

Probably had nothing to do with google authorship, unless in
doing that, you inadvertantly created a page. Or, a page
was created due to the idiocies of WP. That page does exist,
and that is the title. A page is not a post, but some make
a page thinking it's a post and vice versa.

    Ditch WP.

If it happened because of something related to WP it's only because of something your doing (plugin or theme). That's not something that would happen because of WP core files.

  • Coloma,

If you are using WP, this is most likely a problem created by a plugin. Have you recently added any sharing plugins or anything else that has to do with sharing URLs or that uses URLs as a part of what it does? I would start there and see what you can find.

    Best,
