I'm not worried about cost, where is the best place to get some decent quality content?

I'm tired of producing weekly mundane junk and really want to get content produced for my website that is actually engaging and well thought out, quite frankly, i'm not a good writer at all and have struggled with this for a long time.

I really want to get some content made that can get some good genuine traffic, not just spam bots. Does anybody have any good ideas/ recommendations.

Have you searched on the forum at all?

There are plenty of writers here and many different writing skills, voices, etc. You could search them out, see examples of their writing styles, choose which you think would best suit your website/s and take it from there.

I'm sure I could find some great writers on here, but this could take a lot of time. I'm mainly after recommendations.

Not if you do your due diligence which is why I recommended looking at samples.

However, if you only want to pay $5.00 or less for a piece, then perhaps you are right.

I had the very same problem. I ended up hiring my brother and sister to do it. But I got real lucky, as they are so damn good at it straight from the off. That good that, I'm going to launch a service with them.

90% of the writers I have found both here and elsewhere are nothing more then Injens. Who lightly rewrite an article using TheBestSpinner. Then brush back over it, to correct grammar and spelling to an 12 year old level.

Sometimes your better off just doing it yourself. Or hiring a real world person to do it. Post an ad in your local college or Uni. You should easily get a well educated, literate student to write for you in exchange for Beer money.

If cost is not your main issue, I don't think why you won't find someone either from Odesk or Elance. Create a project and accept 4-5 different person at once. Compare each of them and finally choose the best one :-) Of course good writers will charge anywhere from $3-$6 for 100 words.

There are a lot of excellent content writers here on WBF.

Also, if you are serious about quality, you might want to make that writer work hand in hand with a researcher.

That way, your content would be well researched, full of facts and of course well written.

In my experience, if you want to get good content, you need to tell the writer EXACTLY what to write about. So basically the ideas have to come from you. Although quality writing is obviously important, it is just as important to have a quality topic. I don't care how well written an article is if it's about the same topic as a thousand other articles out there.

I've had a lot of success from writers here on WF, but I always give them 1-2 sentences description as well as keywords so that they know exactly what they're writing about and don't have to write generic or filler crap.

I too would go with textbroker. I have tried so many different writers and services. Now, textbroker gets ALL my money for writing.

Ton of good writers you can find on this forum. Odesk and freelancer are two other options. I've tried using other services like hirewriters.com and fweez.com. They can be hit or miss, but good thing about hirewriters is that you can review the article before accepting it.

I have a same issue. Last week I hired one contractor from Odesk for writing 4 articles in one week. The two articles were fine but the rest are junk and spin from the other website. I really don't understand how to hire best writer.

High Quality Content when price is not a concern, here are my favorites:

    1) Zerys.com, Hubspot happily endorse.
    2) WriterAccess.com, the Level 5 Elite writers.
    3) WriteBrothers, they are here in the forum.
    4) Contently Platform, the most expensive ever, they write for Fortune 500s. Prices start at $5K/mth.

I always prefer writing the articles myself. If I have time I write an article, check it to see if there is a problem with copyscape, then check grammar and everything is fine. In less than 20 minutes for 300-400 words... Why to pay somebody who will only write an article to take your dollars...
