How quickly can you start to build tier 2 links?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how quickly can you build tier 2 backlinks when using brand new domains as your tier 1. I have noticed that if I build tier 2 links to say some private blogs or web2.0s, it actually devalues the strength of the link. Is this something anyone else has encountered?

    Can't believe no one is biting on this? Have I stumbled upon something that is key to tiered linking, that no one wants to share or is it such a stupid question no one can be assed answering?

    I would always avoid pointing spammy links at anything that points to my site. If you think logically about it, what kind of value would it add to your tier 1 links? Just make sure the links actually get indexed.

    If you are not sure about a blog or private web 2.0 websites then I would just stick with websites you know have good PR and deliver good content/backlinks on them. Build slow steady back links from high PR sites and create a link wheel on the content you post on other websites. Five articles or back links per week 2 back links to each of the five articles.

    Whenever i create Tier1 Links next day itself i start doing Tier 2 links so i personally dont wait...

    It all depends how your tier 1 link building going, if you are confident that you have enough with tier 1 then start practicing tier 2 with better PA and DA links.

    Have you suffered any major setback as a result of this?

    If you are building a link pyramid, ensure the tier 1 is built on high pr, a good number of do follow and relevant domains or content. The tier 2 can be spread just about the way you want it...

    The only thing is, ensure you keep your link profile in accordance with Google Penguin requirement.

    You would want to build as many tier 3 links as quickly as possible. You have to be sure that you don’t apply many things that are spammy to your tier 2 links pointing to your tier 1’s. The concept here is to have a buffer from your main site getting penalized. In addition, you should keep track of all the links you build so the next time you think you are getting penalized, you can remove the ones that are doing harm to your website.

    You should be able to build Tier 2 links right away if they provide decent quality content and they are relevant to your Tier 1s.

    I have been doing Tiered linkbuilding for years and it seems the earlier you build decent quality Tier 2s the better.
