SEO suggestions for Canadian website.

Hello Warriors,

I'm looking for critique towards my new website, http://www.proffer.ca

Purpose:

Proffer.ca is a network of Paralegals across the Greater Toronto Area (aiming for Cananda-wide). Clients post their traffic tickets/speeding tickets on the website, and Paralegals offer their fees on the ticket to represent them in court.

Clients then compare fees and make an informed decision.


I'm very interested in your perspectives regarding SEO aspect, how would you go about targeting audience for a website like this. Would you start from a specific city first or something broader?

    Optimize your titles, at the moment you've got a natural feel that in essence describes what your website does. I would suggest focusing on a few keywords and optimize your title accordingly. One example of titles could be Traffic Ticket Lawyers - Contest Traffic Tickets Ontario - Proffer.ca

    Learn about keywords first if you haven't.

    Pick about 10 keywords related to your niche/site and optimize your home page with it.

    Depending on your backlink capacity and strategy, you might want to start backlinking to 2 to 5, again based on your backlink strategy.

    Optimize your blog for another 5 to 10 keywords and repeat the backlinks.

    It won't be a bad idea to feature your site on related sites for traffic and also use PPC if you have the budget.

      I've just been back-linking to blog posts as resources to answer relevant questions, wherever I can find them. I try to get in the main site wherever I can.

      I'll start focusing on specific keywords.

        Do keyword research and competitor analysis. Focus on relevant keywords and monitor competitor activities. Build high PR backlinks and add quality content to get traffic.
