google suggestion tool for keyword research

quick question

how reliable is google suggestion when you are looking for keyword ideas, i mean i know we can use keyword planner, which so far i am hating,

But my question is is the suggest tool giving you more accurate ideas of what people are looking for?

  • As you type in Google search box, you get suggestions of related keyword, for finding searches of those related keywords you need to take help of keyword planner, thats it.
  • thanks for that so it's good to get keyword ideas in other words, however I take it there must be a min of people who are searching for those words for them to appear in auto suggest
