My question is why would you want to do that? Your website is not going to be very user friendly if it is full of content that your readers don't want. You could add content about travelling with your spouse etc. Tie other topics in but also talk about relationships.

I just want to get more traffic. The content I will be adding will bring traffic and they might be interested in my offers.
But the main concern is whether Google will penalize my site for it or not?

      Does any one know please?

If I were you, I wouldn't do that. You know why? It is because if your blog talks about a specific niche, and you are just putting a topic that isn't relevant to the blog's niche, it would affect your site's SEO. It's better that you should stick to write relevant content on your blog's niche.

your SEOs depends on the visitors and visitors are depend on your content and content depend on you. so think about this again. if your users see the relationship site and when they come to your site and then what ? they see the different content nobody like this idea , if your visitros do not like then GOOGLE does not like even more

It will not affect your site neither bad or good, you're just wasting your time.

you need to post only relevant content it's important for SEO. Also it's most important for Google. Google mark you as a spam if you post non relevant content.

One reason not to do this is your bounce rate.. If people come to your site expecting info on topic x and instead get info on topic y then they are not goig to stick around. As soon as they realise the content is not wat they expected they will leave.. This will effect your bounce rate and may in turn effect your ranking
