Converting a foreign language expired domain to English

Is there any issues of buying say, a Spanish PR2 with a good history and slapping English language content on it?

Will it be useless, or keep some juice?

  • No, there is no problem at all doing it, I have done it, but here is what I do, I go to Internet Archive: Wayback Machine and I try to re construct as much as I can from the old domain (copying and pasting the html), and after that I add parragraphs in the language I want to rank for, with the content related to the keywords I want to rank for and I put it with "" so it seems like a quote from another source, I have never had a problem.

The foreign language pages are a gold mine

    • Awesome! Thanks for the great info...smart workaround to the language difference.
  • We are working on a second network with english domains with italian contents, no problems for now!
