Best way to sell Ad space

I'm trying to figure out what the best way to do this would be. I run an business/ entrepreneur forum and we have ad space available. I just don't know how to target the right people who would be interested.

What is a good plan to find interested people in advertising on our site?

    You can use a lot of site where you can publish your ads offer. Just google for: sell ads.

    Split test consistently. I'd recommend going to BuySellAds.com - I monetize a few sites with them and if you're in the business / entrepreneur niche and gets lots of pageviews? You can definitely bring in some cash. But that being said, I'd still recommend split testing other networks, but I'd venture to guess you'll get about as much as you can (with an ad network vs reaching out to advertisers directly) but using BSA.

      Make your own ads and sell your own products. If you don't have products make some or have them made.

      If you don't want to do that then affiliate products.

      When someone can afford to pay you for an ad sell what they are selling and get their profits and keep their ad spend in your pocket to.

        There are many sites available where you can publish your ads. I think, you can make your own ads and sell, this is the best way.

    The following way to sell ad space.
    Tell your customers when they buy an ad you’ll also add it to your free eBook and message board for free.
    Write content that’s tailor made to mention and relate to the product your customers are advertising. This is more work but, you’ll sell a lot of ads.
    Give your customers a ton of free bonuses when they buy ad space. It can be submission software, an eBook full of advertising or copy writing tips.

    BuySellAds is a good service. Or sell direct, just find advertisers yourself. It's always good to have incentives, if an ad on your site includes a post on Facebook, a Tweet and an email blast in with the price, people will be more apt to buy.

    Placement is important as well, nobody wants a footer ad, but ads embedded in content are gold mines.

    BuySellAds are a good way to go for you to sell some ad space. I think there are hundreds of customers who are browsing which websites they are willing to advertise their own products.
