Web 2.0 properties, article thoughts

I'm in the process of writing down my link building strategy and am stuck at the most efficient way of writing up articles for the web 2.0 properties.

As it stands, I have a single website that grows daily in terms of content, it is based around a couple of categories within health. My primary idea is to create a series of web 2.0 properties (10-20) based on the "parent" category health, for example:

thebesthealtharticles.wordpress.com
thebesthealthanswers.wordpress.com

Then, for every article that has a specific targeting keyword on my "main website", I will simply find 9 other sites that are based around the same subject as my keyword and take snippets. The post on the web 2.0 property will essentially be a "top 10" websites for "keyword", each post being laid out similar to:

[INTRODUCTION]

1. www.domain.com/page (just text)
- Short description, which will be a snippet from said site (should I rewrite this)

2. www.mysite.com/post (an actual link)
- Short description for my site

...

10. www.domain.com/page (just text)
- Short description, which will be a snippet from said site (should I rewrite this)

One of the other websites, the most authoritative, I will link out to also, as so not just linking to my site.

Every article will have an image or two, or a video.

Questions:
- How does the above sound?
- Would i be penalised for technically copying content? If so, should I just rewrite the snippets I take, this is of course, very quick.
- In regards to secondary keywords, should they all have their on post on the web 2.0 properties, or be in the same post as that of the primary keyword?
- Should I create all web 2.0 and their articles at once for already existing posts on my site all at once, or over time?
- If I have 20 properties, should I add a page to each one, on seperate days, every day progressively (so it takes 20 days to create 20 articles pointing to my site)
- I'm guessing I shouldn't put links to my site on every article on the web 2.0 properties, so I was thinking about writing two part lists randomly.

For example, keyword 1 would have a single article top 10, with a link to my site/specific post, where as keyword 2 would have "article top 20 part 1" which would have no link to my site, and "article top 20 part 2" which would have a link to my site.
