A question about social network articles

Hi guys,
I know that social network articles are one of the key in todays seo job, but I m sorry that I didn't understand what's social network articles clearly, does it mean the links in facebook, twitter, pinterest or anything else? And how can I submit the articles to these social network? Or the links on other platform such as social bookmarking sites?

Any kindly friend could explain for me please?

    I am not sure what you really mean. Are you referring to write articles about social networks? Or are you preferring to promote articles in various social networks?

    I have the idea where you got this term "social network articles" from. If i am right they are being referred to articles posted on web2.0 properties like weebly, wordpress, wetpaint, livejournal etc. The term social network articles in place of web2.0 articles is the courtesy of senuke.

    I’m confused as well. In general for SEO, there hasn’t been a firm link between interaction on social media and an increase in search engine rankings however there are strong correlations. You want to get your content shared. This is, links from your website or blog shared on social media and interacted with on social media.

      Facebook,twitter,plurk,folkd etc etc

      It has had 0 impact on my ranking and traffic, and the posts are indexed
