  • well it depends on the purpose of the blog. if you are going to market it then it should be optimized from on-page to off-page. now if you're just going to use it as personal blogs and sharing it only on social media then don't bother.

  • Absolutly, if you don't tick all the boxes for on page optimisation then you are wasting your time building backlinks. Your content needs to be keyword targeted so that Google will actually pick it up and rank it. Building backlinks will make no difference, you will not rank for anything unless its optimised.
