A Competitor has just added 5000 Backlinks!

So I checked Google this morning and I saw a competitor appear from nowhere! Once I did some research into the site - I have seen they have all of a sudden added 5000 backlinks! Which has now put them on the top page of Google for a specific keyword term.

My question is this - Do you therefore think they will stay there? It is a very small niche and the other sites around the oldest domain is only 2 years old.

Should I now go & add 6000 Back links? Just to outrank them - as I was doing everything slowly before and nowhere near the top page yet...

Do you think there just Google dancing? There doman is a few months old maybe they will drop? Maybe they will not? In the meantime they can make a killing!

    Getting on top could not be as difficult as sustaining that position. If their site is new then probably it could be under the influence of Google dance. You need to wait couple of more days before getting any conclusion.

      You'll need to double that amount of links for the keyword auto insurance, otherwise your not even trying.
