Adsense not displaying on site using WordPress

Hi,
I run a number of websites and use adsense on them. I've just recently bought a domain name that had been used by someone .

I'm now developing this domain name as one of my sites, trouble is adsense is not displaying on any page I create.

Is it possible this domain has been blocked and so google will not display ad's on it? Is there a procedure for checking?

thanks

Have you verified your adsense account completely? On new accounts you have to verify them before ads will show up. If so then use this tool to see if the site is banned from adsense:

I completely agree with Bent SEO. Probably that website was banned by Google or just verify it. But anyways, I hope that everything will be fine later for your Adsense ads.

Don't worry. I had the same situation.

During about 1o days there was a strange situation with ads. Sometimes there wasn’t any ads, sometimes there few some of them, the most unusual, missing ads behaviour was different in Chrome and Firefox.
I've contacted Adsense support, and they said it's all right, even sometimes there wasn't ads on that site.

And after maybe 1o days it all settled right

Did you check if you have an ad-blocker? I had the same problem, but accidently found that my browser BLOCKS the ads (just a suggestion!)

I once had a similar (not exactly the same) issue. It turned out it just took Google 3-5 days to start displaying the ads (might have been 24 hrs.). Give it time, before you try anything.

Sometimes the issues may on Google side. Just wait for a day or two and check again. To confirm the situation use 2-3 different browsers as sometimes the issues may be with browser cache, addons etc.

Yes don't lose hope to early, like people above said you should wait for 2 - 3 days, if the problem is from their end, it will be resolved. And you also have an option to contact them and ask them what's going on.

One of the joys of AdSense is that we have to guess what is happening, and our guesswork is often completely wrong because we don't have the necessary facts to make even educated guesses. My current wild speculation is that Google is tweaking its "unsafe content" filters, perhaps in association with the introduction of third party ads to its network.
