If you had just one shoot to do link building, using one method (forget about link diversification) -- which technique would you use and way?

I hope your answer is provided because you've tested the method yourself before...

Whether it's manual link building or "natural", I want to hear from you...

      Depends on the competition. If it's low competition then I would just build a few web 2.0s

    If you or anyone else wants fast results (which doesn´t mean stable!!!) i would recommend authority links from SAPE networks. These usually cost quite a bit and you have to pay monthly so that they would stick, but oh boy they can give you a boost in SERPs. Have tested it myself and you can rank on top with only these links (low-medium comp keywords)

    I don´t offer these links cause it´s considered quite blackhat, but IT CAN be rewarding.

    You know, now there are over 100 different ways to build links - and each of them (be it a whitehat or blackhat link building method, ethical or not) proved to have some certain SEO effect.

    But if we had an option to choose just one link building technique, well... we would consider lots of important factors first.

    Generally, the choice of link building methods depends on a site authority, its niche, competition and many other important SEO factors. Thus, simple link buidling methods will work well for new-born blogs, while authoritative sites will require applying more advanced link building techniques.

    And of course, the current link building trends should be taken into consideration. Thus, some link building methods that used to work well have already got (or are gradually getting) ineffective. Among them are: link exchange, spamming in the comments on forums and blogs, link wheels, etc.

    So,we can't give an unambiguous answer to your question. :rolleyes:

    What we generally advise is to:
    • analyze the current link building trends;
    • select link building techniques can work best for your site;
    • make up a link building plan based on the combination of these techniques...
    • ... and implement it.
