I'm very new to Adwords and before I launch a campaign are there any tips on things to avoid doing from the start?

  • Hey Diandor,

I've been doing Adwords for quite a number of years now. If it would be to give you a tip for the beginning, dive into some blogs. Just allocate some days and read a bit about the "mindset" of Adwords.

You will find so many useful tips & techniques depending on your advertising goals. Cause anyone can give u a checklist based on their experience, but then again everyone has different KPIs they want to meet in the end of the day.

I was following for quite some time PPC Hero in the beginning. You could give that a go.
  • Make sure you set a daily spend limit unless you want to lose your shirt or at least donate it to Google.
  • It's hard to give a few general tips, rather I would suggest you start to study something like this: PPC Hero’s Beginner’s Guide to PPC | PPC Hero®

I have sent quite a few people to that guide and they all seem to love it. PPCHero really know what they are talking about in general.
  • The important thing is that you keep their TOS in mind,
And be careful when setting up a budget.
  • Hi there,

There are many things you should be watching when starting with Adwords. There are a lot of tricks you can use to achieve high QS an beat the competition. Monitor your campaign closely in the early hours. Start with a big list with Exact match keywords and cut all that get 100 impressions without a click and 20 clicks without Lead/Sale.

Any questions - let me know!
