UK Health Insurance Offers On Adwords-CPC WAY Too High

Hello Warriors. Been a long time since I've posted due to being extremely busy getting site built and Landing pages done. I've been promoting UK Health Insurance offers Lead Gen on Adwords. My Landing Page(s) convert pretty well and basically I broke close to even. Paused all my campaigns the other day and taking a break and sort of at a brick wall right now.
The issue I'm having is the keywords are God awful expensive. I'm talking $6.00 and up per click on keywords. Money goes very fast. And these are company named keywords that are pretty targeted. I would be pretty far ahead if it weren't for the expensive clicks.
Anyone have experience in promoting Health Insurance offers on Adwords or other paid traffic sources that are much less expensive?
