Adsense site on gaming?

Hi fellow Warriors,

I'm very much into games and I'm considering setting up several websites for games which are released soon. This way the (SEO) competition isn't too bad yet.

I did this with a game 2 years ago and it worked very well traffic wise (300-500 visitors/day). It just wasn't easy to monetize it, with adsense or otherwise.

Do you think it would be worth it to invest my time in such a project to set up an Adsense site?

  • I would suggest if you can if you are a serious gamer that you could set up a site about a game to be released soon. Then get people to sign up to your newsletter and create a list.

    Keep them interested by sending out emails so they can see the latest posts on your website about news for the upcoming game.

    When it is released get a gaming expert to put together an guide asap and sell it to your list. As more games come out rinse and repeat. You can become the go person for gaming guides.

    EDIT: Already many game-sites that do this. Competition too high.
  • The list is the number idea.

    You can then promote new released games and related items to them.

    Another option is to join amazon associate program and promote games on your site.
