I found a keyword that I can rank for, which gets 45,000 local searches a month. However I discovered that the keyword is also the name of a company, so most people searching for it (probably everyone) is searching for that company.
It's not a trademark name, it's something along the lines of "Ideal Toys" (which is a company, it's not actually that but it's an example of what it's like) with the company ranking the 1st and 2nd spots. I could definitely rank within the top 10 as keyword competition is very low... Possibly even higher.
Thus I would be exposed to 45,000 searches monthly, though they would be pretty laser-targeted already onto what they're looking for.
