So I generally keep it to one image per page of content and am wondering if adding additional images to pages would help boost certain pages? Thoughts?

    Addition of images in page can make attractive to the visitors, It can also help to reduce bounce rate. But before adding images make sure images are not big in size. It can increase page load time.

    Adding relevant alt text to the extra images on the page will pick up additional longtail traffic. The image alt text shows up as plain text in the Google Cache (text version).

    Sometimes I get Google SERP descriptions for my image pages that include my image alt text.
