How long will the articles in WordPress be indexed?

I tested wordpress by built a blog then post tow articles in it three days ago, I want to test how long will the articles in wordpress can be indexed if I didn't post any other link juice to it, the blog still not be indexed today.
The questions are:
1.If I posted high quality articles to the high pr Web2.0 platform such as wordpress, should I have to post other links to promote indexing?
2.Or just let it be, can those articles be indexed after a few days? How long should it takes?
