Hi.
I have uploaded new movie to youtube 6 months ago and embedded it on my website.
Movie is about a product my web site sells.

Also HAD sitemap for that movie and connected (not anymore) the youtube channel with the website webmaster accounts - so google "knows" now that it is my movie .

My Web site was on google first page- were it was for years.
3 months ago after doing some SEO, movie jumped to google first page.
Ever since my youtube movie jumped to google first page (not sure if before or after) my website dropped to the bottom of google page 2 and no matter what i do, it stays there (results 5-20).

Could be that google prefers to show the youtube movie on first page and as long as it is there, google will not allow my site to be on first page as well so there will not be 2 results from the some one?
Could be that my video hurt my website ranking and prevents it from jumping back to first page?

Exactly why I tell people to not rank a Youtube video for their target keyword, it's a shot in the foot.

Once the Youtube video is ranked for your keyword in Google SERPs traffic is going to click the video thumbnail image, go to Youtube (maybe watch the video) then click the heck out of the right sidebar on Youtube. That right sidebar on Youtube gets massive traffic to videos that belong to other Youtube channels.

Forget about ranking Youtube videos in Google SERPs, rank your own money page & include a self hosted video thumbnail image so Google search traffic isn't looking at your competition (YT right sidebar) after they click your self hosted video thumbnail image in Google SERPs & land on your page.

Youtube is unnecessary competition in Google SERPs, people create their own problems trying to compete with their own YT videos in Google SERPs.

    Live & learn.

My advice is change the keywords on the YT video page (page title, video description, tags, etc...). Then check your own web page that dropped in Google SERPs & see If you've lost any decent backlinks recently (try ahrefs).

      Hi yukon

I am not talking about competition with YT movie.
What i ask is if google policy is maybe to send my website to second page since it already have Representation if first page by the YT movie.

I.E google says, well it is to much to have 2 results for the same company in first page, so as long as company youtube movie is ranked on first page on google search results, we, google will not allow the company web site to be there on first page as well.

      What do you think?

No, it doesn't matter how many pages you have ranked on the 1st page of the SERPs.

I can rank multiple pages from the same domain per keyword.

I also have multiple sites in the same niche targeting same/similar keywords, they rank just like any other web page.
