Hi Guys,

I'm about to launch a new website, new domain not on googles radar etc and wanted some advice on the SEO strategy and best types of packages to purchase without it getting hammered or sandboxed by google.

I used to use Paul's and Angelas backlinks and also SeNukeX and various other WSO's in the past on new sites and that always did well, but as this is a new site and a major investment for me I don't want it to fall before it can walk.

Again thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.

All the best Paul

    Hi Paul,

I highly suggest you focus more on content marketing like do guest posting, article submission on directories, post to web 2.0, do press releases, blog commenting, and forum posting. Remember to always post quality content where your visitors can really learn.

Quality is better than quantity with a new site. Go slow and steady. Build a few great quality links a day for the first few weeks. Then, after you have built a base of links you can up it a little. But stay away from anything that involves a lot of links all at once with a new site. You might as well put a sign on your site that tells Google "I'M BUYING LINKS!!!!!!"

If you want long term results, I would stay away from any WSO related banklinking with a new site. Article directories, doc sharing, relevant sites and directories, guest posting, and possibly a few blog comments on legitimate blogs that are related to your niche (not scrapebox or any service). Just a few a day for a month or so and then you can start adding in more links.

Note - make sure that you are not using your keyword as the anchor text for very many of the links. Use lots of branded keywords (the name or url of the site) and lots of random anchor texts (click here, home page, great site, etc.) to make it look more natural to Google.

So you think he should buy a bunch of random links all at once on a brand new site? Sure, if a site goes viral it happens. But that comes with traffic, comments, likes, shares, and a whole lot more if it is natural. You have to really know what you are doing to pull that off in a way that will not put up a red flag. And, no offense to the op, if you are asking for advice on here for how to do seo, you don't know how to do it well enough to pull it off.

If the links are a decent quality it doesn't really matter how many s/he builds, especially If those links are on relevant sites/pages. Also Google isn't going to find all those new links in one day.

I'm talking quality links here, not fiverr gig or public link networks.

I don't disagree with you Yukon, but if I am giving advice to someone on here, I am going to be cautious. Especially when the site is a major investment and the backlinks that he mentioned were Angela and Paul links and SENukeX.

      Congrats on the new venture.
There are a few things you should note before doing SEO. These tips may be little vague as I don't know the niche you are in.
      • Start with writing quality content
      • Let keywords flow naturally, don't stuff them
      • Always ask these two questions before writing: Will the reader find it worth? Will he/she share?
      • Create social media profiles and link them on your website
      • Engage your audience
      • Gain backlinks naturally- you buy them and you will be caught. Google monitors backlink frequency as well
      • Don't go for backlinks package or some crap like that. It will hurt you in the long run
      • If you do business in a particular area, don't forget local seo
      • Have all on-page factors perfect
      • Create a buzz while entering. Have a good press release written and distributed
      • Participate in blogs that are related to your niche
      • Have a blog in your website and update it with quality content
      • Encourage your readers to share

There are a lot more to do as well. These are the things that popped out instantly. I understand all the above I said are time-consuming things. But remember that you have to perform for a long period of time. All the best.

        1-Quality Content
        2-Quality Content
        3-Quality Content
        4-Quality Content

For each quality content page you should create a youtube video with the link of the content inside the description of the youtube video.

The only backlink that you should create should be guest posting related to your website, create at least 30 quality post before create any backlinks,if you create one page per day, after a month you are going to be able to guest post safety.

Social media backlinks will come naturally in the future.

That's why I mentioned quality links.

I have to ask... are you branding your site name and creating a new query space or are you trying to sneak in to an already existing and competitive query space?
