Automatic Backlinks

Recently, my site was given a severe beating by the dreaded Google Bots which cost me massive rankings - you can see the sudden drop in traffic in my screenshot attached.



I have been running backlink campaigns using automaticbacklinks.com for about a year and up until the date of the decline, thought it was assisting my site. I have just deleted it from my site in the hope that this was the cause.

Has anyone had similar experiences with automaticbacklinks.com? Did I do the right thing by removing them from my site?

      but they do say on the website "Automatic Backlinks leaves no footprint and it is impossible to detect that you are using it."

      I bet you the plugin links back to the automaticbacklinks-com website, nothing is free, not even my mom's apple pie.

  • Thanks for the info guys. I feel happy about my decision. Andrewsfm I have done everything by the book. My content is good, links are correct etc etc. I just thought that getting the backlinks would help boost my rank. I will endeavour to get to #1 again.

    • Honestly, a lot of these backlink companies that claim a unique pattern are using a link network, usually a massive one. Even if it's private, it's still potentially vulnerable to Google's algorithm. If you're looking for backlinks, it's a much better bet to:

      A) hire a company to execute direct to direct linking services with digital assets identified by you (you can create your own linkpush, pyramid, whatever, this way)

      OR

      B) take time to do it yourself, either manually or through software

      The latter has less risk and is incredibly time consuming. If you can't get ahead on any sort of other exposure, this may be your best bet, it really depends on your strategy. Speaking from experience, you want to leverage channels where your competition isn't competitive, or focus on an area where you have sort some of advantage or where you can offer a strong value proposition.

  • automatic backlinks are very very dangerous for your ranking and you hired them.. confusing.
  • Auto Back links very harmful to your website in my view, If you will go with auto back links then i'm sure your website can't boost ranking in the Google. So you need to use Proper seo, 1st of all you need to fix your website on page then go to only for quality back links.

    Someone said, nothing comes easily and that is also applicable for backlinks. Write good post and promote them by social media etc and if your post worth you will get backlinks automatically.

    • It is not a right method for taking your website on the top.You should do proper SEO by posting the quality content, forum posting, article submission , press release etc. They will be beneficial for your website.
  • Haven't used automaticbacklinks.com before. But I've seen disasters happen with other automatic linkbuilding software. Been through one myself, to be honest. It worked for a while and then everything starts to tank. Later I found out some blackhats called it the "Churn and burn" strategy. Basically, this strategy churns links to gain rankings and then get burn by Google, it will be tougher to rank well again, although it's possible.

  • Any automated linking service will only lead to your website being penalized or banned.
  • The links that is automated in other words known to be unnatural links, and it can not brings any effect to your site, but penalize your site.

      I think no backlink is better than automatic backlinks which may be main caused of penalty by google. Once if your site is penalized by google you have suffer much. So if possible you can make quality backlinks or buy it from experienced provider and you can try to increase your web traffic that fill up your target.
  • It's an automated link exchange system, which means your site was bound to get penalised at some point. Avoid outdated and harmful link building techniques and services that use them. That's the best way to avoid penalties, although it's not a guaranteed way.
  • Build your links naturally..If PBNs are getting caught then you can't expect to get anywhere with auto backlinks

  • I would like to advise you to not ever use tools like that. They are nothing but the piece of junk. and you can't even think about it after google has released it's latest beast in the farms for hunting and now it is real time and in the core algorithm. so you must avoid tools like that.
  • If you follow these two simple rules of thumb, you will avoid bad backlinks and Google "penalties" (Penguin no longer penalizes bad backlinks, it just ignores them):

    - If the link is easy to get, it is probably a bad link (i.e. from an automated system, or exchange).

    - If you can place the link, yourself, it is probably a bad link.

    There is no such thing as an undiscoverable link network that "leaves no pattern" Never has been; never will.

    • No, there are zero automatic tools that will help you rank better in the long term. Learn to build links yourself. There are plenty of threads here that address that. Or, go to backlinko.com and learn from the backlink guru, himself, Brian Dean.

  • A good and legit way to build backlinks is to guest post or exchange guest posts. But you need to create quality content for guest posting. The effectiveness or quality of your backlinks is determined by the relevancy of the content, relevancy of the website, and the quality of the guest posting content.
