I have a question that have increased in relevance as the Google changes are implemented, we decided to create a separate url for the mobile visitors, so we have 2 versions of the site:

mysite.com

and

m.mysite.com

I have several questions and I have not been able to find an answer, If I create backlinks towards the mobileb verion of the site (m.mysite.com) can that site outrank the other one? and second question that is related to the first one, can the mobile site appear above the regular site for certain phrase on the mobile version of Google?
#address #mmysitecom #mysitecom #outrank

If you create backlinks for mobile version then the chances are it may outrank the main domain but this is not a good practice to build backlinks for mobile subdomain, rather redirect your visitors to the mobile version by detecting the mobile device.

That is what we usually do, but I found some lost traffic from the search engines for a mobile site, which it was pretty bizarre to me since it seems the main domain is still ranking with no variation
