I was targetting business owners on LinkedIn and got 1 click from nearly 10000 impressions, shocking waste of money

Actually I recently saw some case studies where they accuse LinkedIn from artificial link clicks. Provided you pay minimum 2 dollars per click, it is really a huge waste of money.

Is there anybody out there who's had any good results with paid campaigns on LinkedIn?
In theory it should work like FB, but targeting more 'corporate' prospects.

But that doesn't seem to be the case (?), either because people use LinkedIn differently from FB, and/or their PPC program sucks.
    Any insights would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

What was the size of the audience for the ad you created?

I've had success with LinkedIn ads, but each ad I've created has been very specific on the professional I'm going after.

I have not created an ad that has over 20K LinkedIn members.

Also, if you're unhappy with your CTR...either change up your ad, create a more targeted ad or change to CPC.

Their PPC might suck... or maybe your ad sucked... or maybe you didn't target it well enough... or maybe a whole lot of other things. You should split test a lot of different ads before drawing a conclusion.
