Under the Google Keywords tool, does competition refer to competition within the Google AdWords market - or - does it refer to competition in the organic search arena?

    The competition column is only for Adwords, it has nothing to do with organic SERPs.

  • Its for AdWords. If you want a general idea of the organic competition, try searching for your keywrod inside " ", and then look at the total amount of websites you get back.
