Hi,
I tried several free tools because I didn't want to spend money, but I found that I was spending way too much time manually putting reports together for clients and my time is worth money.

In my search for a professional reporting tool, I tried Rank Ranger's free trial and their white label reports are awesome! My logo is on everything and there's also a branded online portal for my clients to use. The best part is that I'm able to charge more for this premium service I'm providing to my clients and I only had to set it up once - everything is automated after that, Rank Ranger sends PDF reports directly to my client's email every month. And I get alerts when there's a change that requires my attention.

Good recommendations in this thread. My agency has spent tens of thousands trying to build a proprietary solution that builds reports which are almost identical to Security and privacy » Informly - Informly reports. I love Informly - Beautiful client reports for freelancers & web agencies., super simple and I just export and send and it links to invoice software.

For a free solution, start with an Excel or OpenOffice template you like (online) and customize over time.

There are various softwares like SEOMOZ, Link Assistant, SEM Rush, Raven Tools which all can generate good quality SEO Reports for the website.
