Google Now Tracking Which Domains You Have Related to Your Name

There is new evidence to suggest that Google has been tracking information on which domains and sites a person operates to establish credibility for any site they own.

This can have a fairly significant impact on your website's rank on Google. For example, if you have an account or are promoting a MLM program - which Google sees as a pyramid scheme - then it will hurt your ranking of all your other sites as it brings into question your credibility and truth worthiness as a content developer.

If you promote sites on the internet Google considers get rich quick schemes - something they hate almost as much as porn - you're entire site structure will be hurt.

Just one of the many cool factors Google is now using to rank websites in Google Factors.

The moment I read this made me realized how dumb this post is. What proof do you have that every MLM program is a pyramid scheme? Why don't you type companies such as Herbalife in the securities and exchange commission website and see for yourself. And why is that Herbalife has a big ass building in Gardena, CA. Shouldn't that building go down since they are MLM? The fact there are MLM's that's working worldwide won't stop it working through Google.

I think you are mixing things up. If your websites link to such garbage...
      what would one expect?

In fact linking to such crap might actually violate google webmaster
      guidelines.

One could own such a program, hide details, not link to it from their money
sites,...and probably be fine. That is, no residual effect.

But then, what would be the point?

Anyone mixed up in that garbage deserves everything they get...

Does it affect rankings? Well, linking to such garbage could, as your site
      might get de-indexed.

Don't mistake this for thinking google gets rid of all ponzi scheme type
      sites in SERPs. They don't.

But if one is trying to rank a legit site, why on earth would you leave bread
      crumbs from some lame scheme?

Was this evidence delivered on the back of a unicorn?

Never mind, I see what's going on here, it's leading up to the 200 Google factor WSO.

The original post is charged with a sense of sardonic irony that wasn't well communicated with text, right?

No. The original post contained a link to his new WSO. The link was removed.

The WSO looks worse than this thread.
