Depends exactly what part of SEO you are looking to outsource I suppose.
Layered Links is still a great service that works, although it is a bit more expensive than others.

I like to have a good communication over how my linking is built. Not just be "plugged in to a system". I was recommended a US based company by a copy-writing friend of mine. This was about 4 years ago and I still use them today.

They ask you what you want, what budget you have and ask you what results you would like and then put a campaign together for you. They run them till they are successful.

I recommend them as they have been good to me. Their contact point is here:

If you seriously would like to succeed in your endeavors, turn to local companies. I mean those brick-and-mortar firms which have offices in your country, and preferably in your hometown because you will need to personally visit them, get familiar with the staff, check their records, ask questions and receive answers and pay in cash. SEO is too risky to trust people thousands of miles away from you, of course many of them can be honest but the distance will cause delays in getting in touch and resolving some issues.

Here what I think when you say this... More money for less work. The best companies I know, don't have brick and mortar. In fact they tend to be the slowest to change, since they have more invested in their old school tactics.

In my opinion SEO starts with good content. Think about what you are trying to offer (3-5 keywords per page) and make sure your website is outfitted with that content and information. Providing unique content will be a great way to establish a good SEO campaign. Other websites will want to link to you and you will build credibility with the search engines.

There are a few of us on here who do "Genuine SEO". The only problem is this kind of real work is hard and takes time, which costs money. People would rather throw their $25 at a link blast that will never work than invest real money into real SEO and marketing.

When you are talking of outsourcing it all boil down to your budget.

I see a lot of people besieging SEO providers looking for top notch jobs, guarantee but not ready or willing to pay for quality backlinks. I wonder if you guys expect magic to happen.

If you are working on your own site it requires more fund than when you are using established websites.
