I want to rebrand my blog, PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello, am Samuel and i run hxxp://www.trueinternetworld.net . Following the google pengium 2.0 update which was launch around june or thereabout, the blog was affected greatly as there was a great decline in traffic even through i have never engaged in any blackhatseo. Some couple of weeks back, the .com domain was hijacked because it wasn't renewed on time. Right now, i am thinking of rebranding the blog to using a shorter domain name and brand.

Please I'd like to make a successful blog after the rebranding is done. The first thing on my mind is getting the blog to rank high on google search again for keywords and for new posts within a short period of time without doing any blackhatseo.

Please I'd let to know your take on this, suggestions and contribution to achieving success on the blog in terms of rankings and visibility.

    The simple answer is to keep posting very high quality content on your blog, there's no one easy trick to a successful blog, try and think of blogs you read and why? if you put out high quality stuff it will get found and picked up by others...

      My two-cents worth is not to get too caught up on SEO and getting traffic that way. What you need is traffic period. Think about others way to get people to your site or get their email so you can have a relationship via email. Here are some suggestions:

      -Guest blog
      -Free report to reader who sign up via your site
      -Post daily to your site (try and get people to check your site daily)
      -Offer a free report here on the WF to get sign-ups

      I'm sure you know about many of these techniques.

      There are many way to build traffic. You can still work on SEO whilst you do this other stuff.

      As an aside I would also make it more clear that you offer a service to help people with blogger sites. It is kind of hidden on your site (which looks nice btw).

      Yes true but then, am thinking just putting quality contents that no one reads will eventually do no much good unless there are quality links pointing to them.

    SEO is a long term strategy that can take months to pay off, even when done right. More direct approaches like email marketing and relationship building on social networks and forums is a better strategy to get your site rebooted with traffic. You will want to establish yourself as a niche expert on Google+ and Facebook Groups (that are about your niche) and become a regular on various high traffic forums that are about your niche subject. This will net not only SEO benefit but also direct traffic as others click through to learn about your site and see what you have to offer.

      You have a point there buddy. Of course social networks is one of my plans during rebranding but some feeling tells me SEO can be the best form of investment for a blog to be successful with time in terms of alexa and all.
