I was the #3 listing on page one for my keyword phrase, then about two weeks ago I started dropping off...now I am buried. I can't figure out what happened.

My site: hxxp://PiratesParadiseAdventures.com

I have a pr3 site, wordpress, responsive, using All in One SEO, a lot of exclusive content...

Keyword: St Thomas Boat Rental

Some of the sites ahead of mine are simply awful.

Any ideas what I can do to regain my position?

Thanks for any help!

Oct 8, 2013 -- "Google's Matt Cutts announced late on Friday that Penguin 2.1 was launching, affecting roughly 1% of searches "to a noticeable degree."

For every site that moves down, there is a corresponding site that moves up.

      You could also say,

The links that you have pointing at your site with those keywords (St Thomas Boat Rental) are totally spammy and may have been devalued after the latest penguin update.

Yes, the latest Penguin update is one of the best factors that you can blame. What I can suggest for you to do is to study the latest results and see whether there are new higher-ranking keywords that you can use. It is never too easy to keep up with the changes, I must say.

Yes, it is most likely due to Penguin 2.1 or Hummingbird which were both released recently in an effort for Google to improve quality.

Study the top 10 competition for your keywords and find out why they are there. You will then have an idea to work towards in recovering from this update.
