Iam looking forward to start Adwords and Bing ppc on medical and life insurance in the UK market. I plan to start with $10,000 and don't want to burn it. I am looking for a professional Adwords management company who can get the best converting kws and manage bidding for good ROI. I understand wordstream has such service though Iam looking for more suggestions from you warriors. I heard that certified Adwords partners are best for safety of accounts from suspension.

I would say that $10,000 isn't enough to hire an agency and pay for advertising in this niche. Average CPC's can run upwards of $20, so you had better have a very, very nice website in place that converts, or an advertising budget that can run in the red for a while. As far as an agency is concerned. Not sure who I would recommend. Most of the good ones want you to be spending $10,000/month or more already before they'll take you on. I would suggest you look up Perry Marshall or Howie Jacobsen, read some books, take some courses, and manage Adwords yourself. Whatever you decide, I really hope you can make it work.

Are you kidding me? I am in that niche for 4 years and I do spend more £10K a month, because I have big campaigns. My account av.CPC is a bit lower than £2.
Of course there are keywords that cost £30 and more, but he is not suppose to bid on them, because they won't be making money. You can make money in that niche with lower budget as well.

Yet, you're still paying anywhere from $5 to $8 per click. Not exactly cheap per say. A lower budget meaning around $5,000. The niche is way too competitive, and if you don't know what the hell you're doing, you're pretty much dead in the water..

And profiting with a positive ROI, is zero guarantee, even with a mentor.

With the so many Google Algorithm updates almost every month, seo is proving to be a risky route nowadays.

PPC is also risky if you're throwing traffic at a page in such a costly niche without testing the conversions first. Insurance cost per clicks are the highest across the entire AdWords network.

If you're confident in your landing page, you'd be better off finding a smart freelance consultant with proof of previous projects rather than an agency, due to your 'small' (in agency terms) budget.

Hope this helps in some way.

@dronehawk I'll tell you what I have learned through trial and error. The only way to get results from an agency or consultant is if you're already spending money on something that works, and have more money to burn. I know they all preach results and how they're good at getting the results you need. However, testing has to be done, and you're going to use up some serious dinero during this phase, and this is especially true if starting from scratch. In the insurance niche that $10,000 will disappear so fast your brain would hurt trying to comprehend it; no joke.

Plus, if they (agency, consultant) already know what works in the niche, chances are they're personally invested, or perhaps have a client, in which case it's very unsound ethically to take on another client such as yourself. If they're personally invested there is always the chance they'll use your money to further their own market research, and drop you when your money is spent. I still say use the money to educate yourself and run your own campaign, unless of course you've got another $50,000 tucked away and want to hire an agency. Even then I would say you'd be taking on massive risk, especially if you can't afford to lose that money.

Perhaps, one of the biggest issues with PPC at this point are the initial CPC's you're going to have to deal with as a newcomer in the advertising space. You're going up against the companies selling insurance, etc.

SEO in any niche/industry is harder than it was a few years ago, and in this niche I wouldn't want to even begin to speculate. Chances are, you would quite literally need $1 million for an SEO campaign to actually have meaningful results. Plus, like you said yourself, Google's algo could give you the boot in a NY minute. Plus, and this is a fact, brands that don't need the exposure get better rankings than you ever will.

One of the most effective ways to get something done is do a JV with someone. However, if you're starting from scratch, and if they have the know-how and you're supplying the money, expect to get screwed. That's usually why I would suggest a JV for a website that's already established or a physical business that they can't rip off.

Personally, I would suggest you either abandon the niche and go sell a private labeled product on Amazon, or start an eCommerce website. Or, spend the next couple of months thoroughly researching the market and people's buying language so you have a better shot at success.

@Svetod, thanks for the information. I have also noted there are some kws with lower cpc (brand kws). Generic kws seem to have higher cpc.

Don't forget that if you join an affiliate program promoting a specific company, you may not be allowed to bid on their brand name or variations thereof.
