Hi Warriors,

We have done onpage optimization for a food website & we are ranking well for low competition & branded keywords. We are yet to start any backlinking other than the links we have received from bloggers who write about the website. Legit! We will continue to do this.

What in your opinion is the best way to spend $100 on SEO efforts every month?

We are planning to write 2 unique articles & post them on our blog. How do we distribute these blog posts? get backlinks for them, etc.

I am thinking contextual backlinks - Odesk is the place to go? any recommended freelancers?

Thanks in advance

Hiring articles writers, buy banners on high traffics sites, advertise on social networks. I suggest you don't focus on backlinks, let make good articles and make links in it naturally. It's best ways to increase SEO scores and rankings for your websites.

Do like a $25 prize gift voucher to your Facebook page Fan of the Week (biggest liker/sharer)
Could do a DIY investment into a private blog network, with $100 pm you will have a decent network in a couple of years and could do better with higher comp keywords.

It really depends on what your looking to achieve for the business in the long term. And how serious you are taking on the job of getting there.

Spending money and time on social marketing is as important as spending on SEO services. I'd second this idea, invest into your social presence as strongly as you are into search engine optimization.

As for ideas on how to spend the rest of your $100 monthly, put into more quality content, not just on site but for guest blog posts on highly relevant sites.

Some of these blogs will allow you to post the content for free, as that serves their best interest. But others will require a fee and this is where you spend the rest of the money you have left over after content creation.

Why don't you just mail him the Antrax now and let him get it over with. This is probably the worst advice you could ever...ever..ever give any business who are looking for "real seo". And want their business to survive for more then 12 months.

Cyanide pill anyone? They're yummy I promise.

Let someone make a comprehensive comparison chart of something. Then use e-mail outreach.
This is how I would spend this $100.

$100 of seo won't get you far.

Learn SEO --> make great content --> use the money for content production.
