What is PR and DA??

Hi,
i am new to internet marketing.

1) May i know what does PR1+ DA24+, PR4+ DA 30+ means?

2) How should I improve those 'numbers'??

  • PR is Pagerank, DA is Domain Authority (here), PA is Page Authority.

  • PageRank is Google's metric that indicates a certain site’s value or authority. It is based on incoming links. DA and PA on the other hand, is just more a metric that people can use outside of a Google's tool to try and judge how strong a backlink coming from that website is. It certainly isn't perfect, just like PR certainly isn't perfect.

    • By which I presume you mean building backlinks as this is the only thing that will increase both PR and DA.

      "doing SEO" is far too generic to mean anything to a newcomer like the OP.
  • PR, DA, PA are the metrics used by Google and other sites to measure a Website Weight.

    Now with revolutionary changes done by G in the recent past, its difficult to analyze sites using these numbers, atleast in G's point of view.
  • Hi Golden Biz, PR stands for page rank which is a numeric value assigned by search engine to a website or web page also blog. It depends on some factors on behalf of search engine assign this value to your website or blog.
    DA stands for domain authority and to improve your domain authority do quality based work for your website or blog.

    So learning PR basics a good idea but focusing solely on it, is a bad move.
