Traffic Droped from 1500 per day to 30...

I have a site which war running since last 3 years perfectly now about a month ago my site's traffic dropped from 1500 visits per day to about 30 visits per day. I beleive that my site is being hit by google penguin update, but how can i make sure that my site is being hit by penguin??

and is there any way to overcome penguin.

any help will be appreciated

  • The first thing to check is to see if you have relevant messages for this site in your Google Webmaster Tools Central. There are messages that are typically associated with Penguin.

    Another thing to look at is what rankings are gone. Are they the ones you were trying to push with link building?

    If you were buying a lot of spam links of any kind, the chances that it's Penguin are high.

    Given the extent of your traffic drop, this looks very much like Penguin to me.

    The second most likely cause would be some bad technical glitch on your site, like malware or pages deleted or a noindex on your pages or something in your robots.txt. Those are things to check for too.
