Apostrophe or No for SEO?

When writing an article with SEO in mind, how does Google treat apostrophes. For example if my article is on children's toys and I have SEO in mind, should I write it as:
children's toys or childrens toys?

Thanks!

if you do a search in Google for the two terms, you will see different results - so Google treats them as different keywords. For an article, I'd do a 50/50 mix or two seperate articles, and in your title of your landing page use both: Childrens Toys | Children's Toys

      Thanks for that answer Iain

I have been fretting about this for a few months. Now I know what to do.

I read somewhere that if you use the apostrophe you would get results for both toys and toy's ...whereas if you just used toys you would not. But I guess this is not true?
