Hi Warriors,

Looking at learning more about PPC marketing. I know a lot of the basics and have placed ads before, but looking for a more comprehensive knowledge of how to do it more efficiently and cost effectively.

Not after courses that promise how to sell products using it etc. Just on understanding the concepts behind it all etc.

Thanks

Perry MArshall course, ebooks, physical boooks and any of his products in general hands down the best on the market

If you read the latest edition there is an entire chapter dedicated to local advertising

Yeah Perry Marshall seems to be where it's at.

Pretty pricey though, but if you look around online there are copies floating around for download.

I don't think you necessarily need to purchase any books: a lot of PPC is learning by doing and slowly getting a feel for it. I often recommend to people that they take a look at this free guide: PPC Hero’s Beginner’s Guide to PPC | PPC Hero®

With the knowledge from there and AdWords' own help section I think you are ready to dip your toes in. Are you doing affilliate for yourself or are you gonna set up Adwords for other businesses?

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions once you get started.

I'm not really new to it. Just looking to improve my knowledge around it.

PPC Hero is a great website for information and any book by Brad Geddes comes highly recommended.

Presumably you will want to learn about Adwords so make sure you read up on all the recent changes before you start advertising. Pay particular attention to the effects on enhanced campaigns and make sure you adjust your mobile bid as it is automatically set to bid at the same amount as desktops and tablets.

    Good luck!
