Finding Guestblog Post Opportunities

Hey Warriors,

After Penguin 2.1 I am going to make my main websites a little more white hat and only do real social signals and guest posts on relevant blogs. Seems like you only need about 20-50 high quality relevant links to rank for keywords now.

Anyways, I found some good ways to get Guest posts on Fiverr. Just search for Guest post blogs and a lot of people are offering posts on legit sites.

I also found this website hxxp://myblogguest.com that lets you sign up and find bloggers who want guest posts.

Does anyone have other ways of finding guest posting opportunities? If so please share!

Myblogguest is not that good. Mostly just spammers.

Your best bet is the hard way... just google your topics/niche and email the website owners.

    It's really not that hard.

Agree with you. My way to do this now is by searching in Google:

      "Keyword" site:.wordpress.com

for example or many other queries!

Mogly, it is when you have over 15 websites to do it for. Basically spend my entire week offering emails that just get ignored

Yeah, a lot of them will ignore you. Or they will want free products/money.

I haven't tried myguestblogger yet. I did make an account for feature use.

I think the solution is make a lot of good content so that they will be more than happy to take your guest blog post. (But easier said than done)

I also found out about linkbaiting. I might try and do that.

Maybe it's time to change the scripts?

I usually get a answer rate of 15% while asking guest posts. And those are usually sites that doesn't EVEN offer guest posts.

Think out of the box, find the winning script and scale it up. But make sure you stay somewhat personal. "Can I haz guestpost on your site" is not enough.

If the people in your niche provide directly phone numbers to contact them, use that instead of email. People are obsessed about using communication mediums that they can hide behind. A phone call is way more personal and gives you the chance to connect with someone when you make the request.

If you don't mind, can you give us brief idea how emails should look like that have high chances of getting response from bloggers?

          OK, here you go:

          Hi _NAME_

I've been reading your blog for a while since I'm interested in *_BLOGTOPIC_*. I've seen that you very rarely accept guest posts, right? If so, I've some articles that I've already written about *_BLOGTOPIC_* as a draft since they don't fit to my blogs. Perhaps you would be interested in publishing them?

And oh, to get a better idea about my writing style, here's my latest article: URL

          Kind regards,
          Your Name

Obviously you can fix the grammatical errors, but I hope you get the overall idea

    Hi,

I would also suggest you try Affilotools link finder, which helps you find sites that accepts guests posts. The link finder may also look for Article directories, commenting, and reviews.

    I hope that helps!

    I'd go with Mogly's suggestion.

A general rule of thumb is to avoid most places or people offering guest post opportunities. They generally do it as a way to generate an income, whether it be directly or ads, which can cause issues with lower quality content.
The best way is to find blogs relevant to your niche that do not advertise guest posting opportunities and email the owner or authors with a pitch for your post idea.

Got registered with My Blog Guest and I do not think it can provide any magic. Manual research, contact the blog owners is the best way to find good quality guestblog posting opportunity.

I tend to use DooID, BufferApp and HelpScout for guests posts.

I don't do them too often, not my favorite method of traffic generation / website branding, but it's a quite nice method if you want to do some different for a while

Is guest posting still working for you? I don't think too many guest posts will help you, rather might harm due to the hell google updates. Still there are opportunities beyond guest posting, I do targeted link building to get seo traffic
