Does any one know if there are any keyword research tools that has the same or similar features of the previous version of Google tool, I have tried Word Tracker and Market Samurai which are pretty good but not as good as the older Google keyword research tool.

Lol, Market Samurai uses Google. Keyword Planner is better than the old keyword tool. It's more accurate. If you have problems you're just using it wrong.

Just about all keyword research tools use Google, it's just the way it displays them that's different. The benefit to using them rather than Google is because some also take metrics from services like Moz for extra information.

I believe Market Samurai uses Bing for the most part, not Google.

It still says that it uses Keyword Planner...and once you figure out KP, it's actually a lot easier to use IMHO.

It is a good thing they removed the different search type volumes, not a bad thing. Broad and phrase search volumes were useless.

If anything, they just confused people.

Google keyword tool was better if you compare it with google keyword planner, they have removed the search volume types and they don't show the searches from "desktop pc" and "mobile devices" separately.

Wordtracker should be the go to answer here, I think.
