Hello,

I am new to PPC and CPM and I want to get at least 500 visitors per day on my website.
What would be the best strategy and budget?

How to decide budget for this criteria?
Does Google charge clicks from impression campaign? if yes how much.

Hoping to see reply from all experts.

Thanks,
#500 #day #ppc #visitors

Google doesn't charge for impressions. But if the CTR rate is low, it's effecting your quality score so effecting your bid (so you have to bid higher because of your quality decrease)

Budget is all about keyword and niche. Depending on the niche, it changes a lot. But at the start, 100% sure that it will cost higher than it should untill you reach to a good quality score.

You can check google keyword analyzer tool for more details

At least when doing PPC, I don't think it is very fruitful to think in terms of how many visitors you want to your site.

Rather, you should be focused on getting as many visitors as possible that convert. Of course you will never have a 1:1 relation between clicks and conversions, but it is possible to find very targeted keywords that convert every 3rd visitor, at least in my business.

Therefore, better spend your time initially doing thorough keyword research to understand the market that you enter and to hopefully find keywords where competition is low. Even in the most competitive niches there might still be areas that few advertisers have found.

You need to decide the following:

1, What is the payout per 1 sale or 1 lead or whatever you are selling ?
2, What return on investment are you aiming at ? ROI 100 % meaning you invest 100 dollars and get 200 dollars revenue from campaign.
3, What conversion can you expect ? If selling, then anticipate around 1% visitors may buy. I would suggest to let them subscribe though. Then build relationship and then sell.

For example $50 payout with 100% ROI target means you can spend maximum $25 to get 1 customer. With 1% conversion rate this means ... maximum pay per click you can afford to pay are just 25 cents !!!

Of course you can try to break even in the beginnings, or make small losses during testing.

If you are after cost per impression, try Linkedin ads. Great targeting by location, industry and many other factors. In Australia you are looking at between $3 and $4 per 1000 impressions.

Yes I can do that so how many impressions to get 500 traffic per day. They charge on clicks within impression so CPM will be no use rather going with click only.

You are starting the process backwards. You have to test and determine what your CTR rate is to get that many clicks. I'm glad you are asking these questions, but based on them, if you started paid traffic today, you would lose a lot of money.

My recommendation is to start with BingAds learn the ropes and go from there. There is a lot to paid traffic, it is hard work. Don't for a second believe paid traffic is the path to get rich quick. Asking question is the first step in a long process.

Stay away from 7search, that traffic doesn't convert.

        Good luck.

for all guys I want to say as I mentioned first I want traffic first I dont care about conversations.
Also, the keywords search volume is too less only one keyword has most 1000 searches per month others are just around 300 or 400.
Currently I only care about 500 visitors per day I know I can do cost per impression campaign but need kick start with it.

If you have any guide or article to start CPM campaign let me know.
