Youtube, Google Adsense and Monetization

Alright, well.. I've recently tried to monetize my Youtube channel that I have setup for a site that I've been working on. In the Monetization section it now tells me "The AdSense account you associated is now approved". I also see a $ symbol in a green icon next to my videos in the Upload section. When I go into my Adsense account I see something towards the top saying "Your AdSense for content application is still under review. You will only see blank ads until your account has been fully approved or disapproved."
I don't see any earnings built up yet and I'm curious what's going on. Could someone tell me some more about all this?

  • Do you know if I'll be able to put Google Adsense code on my website after that or if I'll still need to get a whole site reviewed to be able to do that? I heard that someone could by pass a site approval through getting approved through Youtube.
