  • You should create your own website with some content in order to stay compliant. Direct linking will not work.
  • Hi,
I think it is not possible. Google would not allow to put video URL. You have to create site with content and video.

    • Google Adwords don't allow publishing of affiliate links since they simply don't want you to make money using their ppc-platform.
  • Actually, AdWords for videos does not equal "a link in the video description".
It's about buying ad space in or around selected videos, channels, keywords, etc.
So, in a way, it's rather similar to AdWords.
At the same time, what's preventing you from uploading a video and putting your link in the description right now?
By the way, YouTube has a partnership program. Be default, they use all user generated content on YouTube as free ad space. Only if you uncheck the "allow ads on my page" box, do they stop showing ads on the videos you upload.
But, you can start making money off those ads in your videos if you sign up for a partnership program with Google. For that you'd need original videos, sound track, own all the rights, etc. though.
