Are you in a low paying niche?

If you are into Adsense then you should go to SpyFu first and check out how much your niche will pay.

This could be the difference between making dollars and making pennies.

Good Luck!

If you don't have the money for Spyfu (I don't know how much it is) you can use Google's keyword tool for the same thing. It just takes more time.

But yeah, it's important to choose a nice that will pay you more than pennies. I wish I had known that when I first started with Adsense.

Pennies can add up with enough traffic though I had a super low paying niche once (.01-.03 per click) that made me a steady $100 a month for a couple of years before I sold it.

I'm actually using SPYFU, and I also recommend it to my friends....
But of course, penny's still important...Without a penny, you can't have a dollar... So I think a good Entrepreneur should be patient enough to wait for the good outcome of his/her business...

I agree spyfu is well worth the investment...and the research you do is worth its weight in gold. So if you don't research don't expect gold....but if you take the time and patience to find that niche and research it....your gold will most likely be waiting at the end of the day.

Googles keyword tool I agree works quite well also.....you've got to average things across a series of tools and base your choice on variables etc.
