Google local/maps

Hi guys

I work for a National company and when users Google the website, it shows the local address and phone number details. The details for this State are wrong and I need to change them. I've flagged the details as wrong and am waiting for the postcard from Google which hasn't arrived after several weeks. My question is, if I change the details when (if) the postcard from Google arrives, will it change it for the website in general nationally? Ie, if someone looks it up in a different state - will it show the details that I have put up? :confused:

PS - sorry if this is the wrong subject to post this under, SEO is the closest subject I could find to my query.

    After you received your postcard and edited the information, they will still confirm it themselves and I think the process will take another 1 to 2 weeks. You can see the contact information in the Google Business listing dashboard that it has been updated. However, it will be shown in the SERP after they confirm the information.
