I looked at this site and they make some pretty powerful claims about how they over perform every other software out there.

Looking at the features, it's quite a lot they pack in there.

Has anyone actually used this? I'm looking for a review and a comparison, to other SEO/Keyword searching programs out there.

The website where you can get Rank Sense and read about it is here RankSense | "Point and Click" Search Engine Optimization Software

    Hi Ryan,

Hamlet Batista here, the creator of RankSense. As MrCat suggested you can find several independent reviews of our software if you "google" them.

RankSense has been under heavy development for the past several years. We have focused primarily on the software in order to make sure we had something really good to offer before we started aggressive marketing. Expect to hear more about us in the coming months now that we have a very solid SEO suite in place.

      Hi Hamlet,

Yes, I looked at your site and it leaves me with many questions.

My main interest right now is to do deep and thorough keyword search for my target market...for both SEO and then PPC.

Does Rank Sense compare well with software that just specialize in that, such as Market Samurai, Keyword Elite, Wordtracker?

The video tutorials didn't tell me enough to know. The same with PPC.

As for the other parts of the software helping make SEO optimized sites, that looks interesting and maybe something I'll need for the future.

Also, I looked at your pricing page. Some questions.

      1. Why do we have to may more for 100 more keywords? Is there a limit to the key words that are given?

      2. Why are there limits on the number of sites? Is this limit being tracked for some reason?

      3. Why is there a purchase fee for the software, plus some sort of subscription fee? If we buy the software, does it work? Or do we need to buy the subscription as well?

I hope you can clarify. Thanks!

        Hi Ryan,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I will try to answer your questions.

My main interest right now is to do deep and thorough keyword search for my target market...for both SEO and then PPC.

Does RankSense compare well with software that just specialize in that, such as Market Samurai, Keyword Elite, Wordtracker?
First of all, at this point we are only focusing on the SEO process inside RankSense. You might be able to use the keyword research feature for PPC, but I personally use free alternatives like the Google keyword tool, Google search based tool and the Keyword opportunities feature of the Adwords Editor.

RankSense not only compares well with these keyword tools you mention, but it also includes research capabilities they don't have.

For example, RankSense includes a built-in keyword ranking tracker that automatically tracks every keyword rankings automatically. Our keyword selection tool uses that information to automatically recommend keywords where you are not ranking on the first page, plus you also get additional related suggestions as reported by Google Adwords API.

In addition to this, you can compare many different metrics for all your selected keywords; things like current traffic & conversions, ppc value of the traffic, paid and organic competition, and most importantly we include a metric we call "Opportunity" that can help you see at a glance which are the most valuable keywords. You can configure Opportunity yourself to give more weight to the metrics that (depending on your goals) are more valuable. You can also use RankSense to correctly prioritize your keywords, create effective keyword groups and map the keyword to the correct content pages.

Please note that I am only describing part of the keyword research functionality, RankSense is a full SEO suite with all the tools you need to realistically achieve profitable rankings.

The video tutorials didn't tell me enough to know. The same with PPC.
As I mentioned, our software is not meant for PPC at the moment.

        1. Why do we have to may more for 100 more keywords? Is there a limit to the key words that are given?

        2. Why are there limits on the number of sites? Is this limit being tracked for some reason?
We have to pay API fees for some of the information we use to generate the reports, so we have to put some limits. We also have a different business model than most SEO software vendors in the market.

        3. Why is there a purchase fee for the software, plus some sort of subscription fee? If we buy the software, does it work? Or do we need to buy the subscription as well?
You get the first 30 days free, then a monthly subscription that you can cancel within 60 days for refund.

That is because you are buying a service not a piece of software. Our software was designed first and foremost with simplicity and time saving features in mind. Most of our customers understand that every hour they can shave off their day, is money on their pocket. If you look around hard enough, you will probably find a lot of free tools that you can use to do proper SEO and PPC; but taking that approach means you will have to spend signifficantly more time to learn and implement things.

          Hi, thanks for your reply.

          Just to be clear:

So is Rank Sense good for Researching Keywords for SEO? Or would I also need to use another service? I'm looking for the best tool to use for finding the best keywords to build my site content.

On your site, it say, looking at for example your standard edition pricing....

          That that pricing is $59.95.

And then below that you have subscription packages. This part is not clear? Is the pricing actual not the price to purchase but the monthly subscription price?

Or is it an upfront cost and then we still have to do the subscription which is what the site makes it look like via the wording. Pls clarify?

            Ryan,

The software is perfect for SEO because that is the main purpose of it. You can do extensive keyword research, find any potential problems, study your competitors, find quality links, etc. It should be very comprehensive for SEO work.

There are no upfront fees at the moment. The prices quoted are the monthly prices that you pay after the first 30 days.

            Thanks for your interest.
